These Terms & Conditions apply to all Barkfest events and are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, dogs, partners and staff.

1. General Attendance

• Barkfest is a dog-friendly public event.

• Attendance is at the guest’s own discretion and risk.

• By entering the event site, guests agree to comply with all event rules, staff instructions and venue regulations.

2. Dog Owner Responsibility

• Dog owners remain fully responsible for their dog at all times.

• Dogs must be under effective control and handled by a competent adult.

• Barkfest, the venue and event partners are not responsible for the actions or behaviour of any dog attending the event.

 

3. Leash & Control Policy

• Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, except within clearly designated off-leash areas (if provided).

• No flexi-leads are permitted.

• Dogs showing signs of aggression, distress or uncontrollable behaviour may be required to leave the event at the discretion of event management.

 

4. Restricted & Prohibited Breeds

• Dogs that are classified as prohibited or restricted under UAE law are not permitted to attend Barkfest.

• It is the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is legally permitted to be in public spaces and events in the UAE.

• Barkfest reserves the right to refuse entry or request removal of any dog for safety or compliance reasons.

• Barkfest does not assess or verify dog breed classification and accepts no responsibility for misrepresentation by dog owners.

 

5. Health & Vaccinations

• All dogs attending must be healthy, free from contagious conditions and appropriately vaccinated.

• Event staff will request to view vaccination records.

• Female dogs in season are not permitted to attend.

 

6. Children & Dog Interaction

• A parent or guardian must supervise children at all times.

• Children should not approach, touch or interact with dogs without the dog owner’s permission.

• Barkfest accepts no responsibility for interactions between children and dogs.

 

7. Assumption of Risk

• Guests acknowledge that interaction with animals carries inherent risks.

• By attending, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with dogs, crowds, noise and outdoor environments.

 

8. Right of Refusal & Removal

• Barkfest reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry to any guest or dog

  • Request the removal of any dog or person

  • Enforce event rules in the interest of safety and welfare

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

9. Liability

• Barkfest, the venue and event partners shall not be held liable for injury, loss, damage or incidents resulting from:

  • Dog behaviour

  • Guest actions

  • Failure to follow event rules or signage

• This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.

 

10. Photography & Media

• The event may be photographed or filmed for marketing and promotional purposes.

• By attending, guests consent to the use of images or footage in which they or their dogs may appear.

 

11. Amendments

• Barkfest reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

• The latest version will always be available on the official website.
